is there a way to uninstall it?
i installed it with a right click.

and one other question:
from where do you have the hotfix extractor

?
because the person steal it from me! nice new logo but this person modded my compiled AutoIt sourcecode and used an older version of the code.

:O no shit?? I do believe I originally got it from ricktendo, where he got it from I dunno.

OMG I did not know. If you wish I will remove it immediatly or update it with yours. (I would rather update it with yours)

As for uninstalling it, a mojority of it can be removed from the add\remove programs section (Select "Show updates" to see the removal options.) The rest you will have to remove manually by deleting the Utilities start menu folder and the Program Files\Utilities folder. then goto the WIndows\shellext folder and right click\unregister all of them one by one. Honestly this pack wasn't really meant for uninstallation :O

Kel thanks for the update I noticed the regshot.ini file is not set for English it has this the old one was English?

Uninstall:
on software it says it cannot find the UberPack.inf

hfextract:
you can keep it.. but i just wondered who made this copy. the first release was on xables forum and then later i released a newer version on my site but localized in german. i can give you a newer version localized in english or just use the version which you already use.
the new version just supports multiple extractions (drag&drop)

OK I just noticed the .inf was not getting copied properly on a manual install too. (I am working on making the WHOLE thing uninstallable) Please manually copy it to windows\inf.

Please would you kindly update you HFextract to a newer english version. I would dearly appreciate it. The new version of my UberPack will be a couple of days as it will take ALOT to get it all uninstallable.

I will make the adjustments to regshot to set it as english by defualt...

It does via regtweaks. You can't use it to replace outright the standard windows notepad. (It messes with the 16bit widows proccesses.)

When this is installed for all intensive purposes notepad has been replaced.

1. Can TaskswitchXP on default disabled for startup (don't think most users use this app - they can always later enable)

2. Can you move MS Power Calculater in start menu to your app map in start menu Utilities. Now I've a map, the map Accessoires (dutch windows) with only MS Power Calculator in it. And a map with all the other apps.

Notepad++ v5.1.3 is out

Kel in the INF file there are references to SyncToy related files...
But they are not further defined there (copy section, registry entries section) and most important, they are NOT in the cab file...

Furthermore the profileitems section for colorpad is wrong, see below

arco I always disable taskswithXP here is what you need to change to stop it from starting. Edit this line on the UberPack.inf.

The Notepad2 v3.0.20 program keeps on crashing at my place.
When i want to save the file it crashes, and it gives me a windows error report.
When i reboot my pc after that, Notepad works again, but after some saves it crashes again?

I can uninstall it? Reinstall it?

Er, that's not a very helpful bug report.

1) Saying that something crashed is useless unless you can provide information about the crash. Faulting module and address? There is a reason why Windows provides a more info link when these crashes happen.

2) When exactly did it crash? Before the save dialog comes up? During the save dialog? After the save dialog? If it's after the save dialog, is it before, during, or after the file is saved? (look at the save file; has it been modified?) If it's crashing before or during the save dialog, does it also crash before or during an open file dialog?

3) Your operating system is...?

When you go to the doctor, you don't say "I'm sick", you have to be very specific of how, where, and when you feel sick so that a proper diagnosis can be made. Software is no different. This is the sort of basic information that is needed in any bug report.

1. Yes i watched that, but i forgot to take a screenshot, i will do that when it crashes.

2. I use the save button, so not the dailog, then the program crashes. When i click in the in the menu it also crashes, so not only when i want to save, for example when i want to exit the program, i got to file and then exit, but when i push file, it crashes immediatly.
Today Notepad has not crashed yet.

3. Operating system is XP MCE SP3.

When you click the Save toolbar button, it's for a file that you have already opened, right (as in, it's performing "Save" and not "Save As")?

Anyway, given the info that you've provided so far, it looks like that crash info might not even be enough. We may end up needing a stack trace. But first, please provide the info about what module crashed, the version of that module, and the offset of the crashing module and let's see if that's enough to figure out what's going on.

Personally, I have never had Notepad2 crash in my years of using it, and I use it a lot. The crashes that you describe are also happening in parts of the code that shouldn't be crashy (unless you do a Save As, as the Save As and Open file picker dialogs represent what amounts to an injection of third-party code, which is why I asked about them). So I'm leaning towards this being a system problem. Virus? Bad RAM? Broken Windows install? But without that crash info, it's impossible to tell.

Kels, just a slight cosmetic error. Your Entries file for 14.4 still has the version number set to 14.2 and the Date is 18/05/09.

Uber pack and Runtimes addon both contain
comdlg32.ocx in different editions.
6.1.97.82 in Uber pack and
6.1.98.16 in Runtimes addon
so during integration both of them we can receive
version conflict error
