User_Hidden... just wondering if you will be making a v8 installer since I notice you only reference XP and I know that 8 doesn't play nice with XP.... been using your installer on my WIN7x64 and now I'm not sure what direction to go for 8. Thanks

I have to update JRE7 so when I do that i'll release JRE8 as an sfx EXE instead of an addon.

I see that you updated JRE7 yesterday, thank you ! When do you plan to add JRE8 as a dual arch installer for Windows 7/8.1 ?

CHANGELOG:
Updated to Java SE Runtime Environment 7 Update 65.
Autoupdate enable by default.
Suppress 7z extraction dialog.
Change 7z finish message.

I update it to my personal use but it will work for everyone.

This maker detect dynamic downloading link for jre by string proccesing
manual download page for offline jre: "https://www.java.com/en/download/manual.jsp"

Last week, inplace of old 1.7 jre, on this page have been placed link to 1.8

Tested and old 1.7 version can be produced by using this way:
A. download jre-7u71-windows-i586.exe
B. rename it as offline.exe
C. drop offline.exe into Download folder
D. cut internet acces
E. run the maker.

If you want to change version of sfx header follow this steps (before to run the maker):
A. edit Binary\Reshack.rc then save it.
B. Run Binary\Reshack.exe
C. Rename Binary\reshack.sfx as Binary\Java.sfx (overwrite existing Java.sfx)

Would someone be kind enough to update this java addon for the final xp release of 7u79 ? I tried using the Maker_Java_Jre_offline and it didn't do anything :-/

You sure?? I thought when i went to DL it i didn't see XP listed as compatible.

I could be wrong, but I don't think it was when it first came out, but I think they made later versions compatible. I'd trust what mooms tells you.
