I don't have this addon, but most likely edit the entries ini and change "-ai1" to "-ai".user_hidden wrote:
If you unpack the Addon to get access to the multimode installer you'll have access to the following switches:
-ai = Silent
-ai1 = Passive
/h = displays help

thanks for the answer
default addon switch provided by u_h is already -ai
that's why I am asking I was seeing his comment, extracted the addon to check the switch state and expected the total silence
it is not annoying but it allows user to quit the installation process out of curiosity or ignorance

If that is the case, extract the config.txt file from the 7zsfx and check to see that the AutoInstall "-ai" line is using the /qn switch with the msi.default addon switch provided by u_h is already -ai
If it is, then that is the behavior for that msi.

Yes Pasha, the switch is there, not touching it...just the extraction splashed during win installation...
the trouble was that my old java addon maker was not working anymore on the newest java7 version... more exactly it was not able to unregister that "tail": java quick starter (jqs.exe) and I was founding it "enjoying" itself amongst legitimate windows processes, "laughing" at me not being able to suppress it's installation...
my java6 version addon...needed a carefull attention, I have it from vmanda and worked very well doing everything in automatic stages... only that I had to modify the path to jqs.exe accordingly...
inside a txt file... from /jre6 to /jre7 to work and get jqs arrested, finally

I think 8 is available now as an alpha Developer Preview if you are adventuresome and want to find out.
As usual, I believe it can also be installed in parallel with 6 and 7. http://jdk8.java.net/download.html
