Ya know, I'm a big fan of your work, some of which is brilliant, but why you insist on putting it up on RapidCrap is beyond my scope of thinking. MediaFire is probably the number one Free File Server on the Net and widely accessible to all. To put your fellow RyanVM members through downloading hell to access your files, well....Sucks Big Time....user_hidden wrote:i just checked and it works just fine.

Hello UH,user_hidden wrote:so after all the downloads are there any issues with this installer ?
would like to get a little feedback......
I tried this last night with installation of W2K3 SP2 w/o any update pack or addons. Integration was seamless with RVM Integrator. No errors after installation.
Thanks!

You may want to try my installer. Please note that my addon maybe a little bit complicated since I have removed several dependency components and you have to manually install them first.

if you have 7zip just unpack the netAIO.ex_ it will extract and gain the exe extension.alban wrote:Hi there
I have unpacked the addon to access the file inside and I got this : netAIO.ex_ , netAIO.in_
do I have to rename the file netAIO.ex_ in to netAIO.exe so I can use -ai = Silent installation, or it won't work?
can you help ?
Thanks.
it is cabbed archive so renaming it to an exe will not work.

i can not reproduce your issue.saper wrote:Everything installed without a problem, except Net Framework 3.0 SP2, though the errors occur when I click ok the installation goes to the end and like everything is in order, but it bothers me this error
as yumeyao suggested try his dotnet build and see if that changes anything.

Could you do a version that has EXTENDED included also? And what about making a simple exe file so we could install it also after the Windows XP installation with a RunOne Batch file or manual by clicking on the exe file. Your dotNET v1,1 addon is done like this and i like how it's done like this.
What did you do to save 25MB?

i'll think about adding extended as well.
in the mean time i have to update the standalone dotNet4+E that is posted in another thread. so if i do that i'll update the AIO.
as for a stand alone EXE it is there like the 1.1SP1.
just grab the addon which you have already.
unarchive it to see the NETAIO.EX_ file.
you can use 7zip or CABtools to expand the file.
you now have the stand alone EXE where you can SILENT, PASSIVE and normal install.
saved space using magic

inf is not needed if you will manually run the exe.Outbreaker wrote:I did unzip and used the command "expand -r netAIO.ex_".
But there is also an INF file included do i not need this if i run the exe file after the Windows XP installation?
And thanks for updating.
just click the exe.......
then OK for a normal install.
-ai for silent
-ai1 for passive

@Outbreaker
i'll consider it umungst the other things i have going.
you can just chain the installer for the 4.0extended in your batch ?
just uploading the main AIO and an optional addon saves bandwidth.
yes there is an SP1 and a some other nonMU updates for Client & Extended.
as for the SP1 i will add it or rebuild when it will be pushed by MU.
other hotfixes that are available not through MU "may" be added when i have a chance
to go through them and see what they apply to.

Yes the net4 in the Addon is like the FULL redist not just Client only.adric wrote:I'm just wondering, but isn't the combination of .NET Framework Client Profile and the .NET Framework 4.0 Extended the same as installing the full .NET Framework 4.0 resdistributable?
I was just curious as to why this addon was done this way.
