For Your Current Update Pack Needs
For Your Current Update Pack Needs
As most people have widely assumed for awhile now, I have ceased work on my update packs and addons and have no intention of working on them again. Due to changes in life circumstances, I simply don't have the time or desire to work on them anymore.
While I'm sorry to see the end of an era, my decision was made much easier by the flourishing of the update packs made by Onepiece, redxii, and user_hiddon. If you haven't yet tried them out, I strongly encourage you to do so. They've all been doing excellent work.

As far as the future of this site goes, I have no intention of killing this site. This is a wonderful community and I'm extremely happy that it's remained as vibrant as it has. Thank you all for making it this site what it is today.
I hope to get this site updated to phpBB3 at some point by the end of the year. When I do that, I also plan to reorganize the forums a bit to better emphasize the current status of the boards here. It's not right that the main update pack development forums are hidden as sub-forums.
Thank you all for your support over the years. It's hard for me to believe that this site has been running in some form now for 5 years. Who ever would have thought it would take off like that when this project started as a thread on the MSFN forums.

I agree with ccl0.
The forum main layout and the dark theme make the difference !!!
White letters on black background are verry easy readable.
Thanks RyanVM for keeping this place working.

And Ryan is finally here.
All those you've done for 5 years was amazing and exciting for me. It has been a usual habit for me to log in this site and check the new stuff, and thats why I've still couldn't pass my lessons till 6 years (in a 4 year faculty
lol).
Was a pleasure to be here and it will be a pleasure since you still keep the community going.
I've learned so many things from this community, not only about computers but about friendships and loyalty.
Thanks a bunch from a past friend, lol

theres actually a 'secret' light skin too. i use the word secret b/c not sure how many know about it. it looks very unusual compared to the dark one

i've always liked the dark one the best

It's not so much a secret as it is broken. Subforums such as Update Pack Addons and Switchless Installer Releases cannot be directly accessed when using that skin.
But even if it worked properly, I'd still prefer the subSilverDark, green on black skin.

Ryan has been active in the Firefox community for a very long time.

I'm in the credits, too
