Here you are, thanks to Onepiece who really appreciates your interest (all of you)
Don't ask for a different configuration of Onepiece's XP AIO Update Pack: use one of the existing vanilla XP UpdatePack with your preferred addons instead

hello everyone
winnt.sif [components] session was ignored.
below is a sample of it:
[Data]
MsDosInitiated=No
EulaComplete="1"
[userdata]
productkey="xxxx........"
[Components]
MicrosoftUpdate = off
Silverlight = off
WDSearch = off
WgaNotify = off
BrowserChoice = off
[GUIRunOnce]
command9="%SystemDrive%\DPsFnshr.exe"
All those components defined as 'off' were installed. the session [Unattended] must exist to [Components] work?
[Unattended] session also disables Repair option on install, so I've avoided it.
Am I doing something wrong, or that's the way it is?
Thanks again

thank you Chahat, with ' UnattendedInstall="Yes" ' I'll loose Repair option?
Edit: tested, disabled components were installed too. The only way that I've found to the session [Components] work is to keep a [Unattended] session, which disables Repair install (this is definitely not a option).
Thank you, I hope that this helps someone else too

how to remove MRT (malicious removal tool), since it doesn't have a uninstall entry on Add/Remove programs? is just delete mrt.exe?
Hope this helps.

Sorry, but you are mixing up [Data] and [Unattended]
For an unattended install the following entry in [Data] is must and has got nothing to do with Repair option:
UnattendedInstall="Yes"
For further customization we use the [Unattended] section. In this you can specify the type of unattended you need. Just give the undermentioned a try, maybe lady luck favors you:
[Unattended]
UnattendMode=Prompt repair

I need help with .Net framework error
I'm using:
SW_CD_Windows_Svr_Ent_2003_R2_32-BIT_X64_English_ISO_32bit_1_MLF_X13-73723.iso
OnePiece_Win2K3_Post-SP2_UpdatePack_v3.7.0_ENU.7z
RVM_Integrator_1.6.1b2.1
DPs_BASE_10111b29
DriverPack Chipset 1101b1
DriverPack LAN 1102r1
DriverPack Mass Storage 1102r2
I run RVM (slipstream OnePiece), Base (Drivers), RVM(make ISO)
My problem is it looks like .Net Framework is being corrupted.
After a fresh install I run MU and I keep getting KB951847 and it fails the install. I have to run ".NET Framework Cleanup Tool" to remove .Net then reinstall it from scratch. Then the KB951847 installs properly.
In addition If I don't uninstall and reinstall .Net framework I have problems installing anything that has to do with SQL. Such as SQL Server, Symantec Backup Exec 2010R2, Symantec Endpoint 11.6.MR2.
I have looked at the RVM logs and I dont see any errors, same thing with DP_Base. I can post them if needed.
Thanks

does exist some reference to this 'Prompt repair'? I've found some german topics saying that this doesn't work, and it isn't even mentioned by Microsoft...Chahat wrote:zzzz wrote:thank you Chahat, with ' UnattendedInstall="Yes" ' I'll loose Repair option?
UnattendedInstall="Yes"
For further customization we use the [Unattended] section. In this you can specify the type of unattended you need. Just give the undermentioned a try, maybe lady luck favors you:
[Unattended]
UnattendMode=Prompt repair
I tried "propmt Repair" and got an invalid answer file error. I would also like to have the option for a repair. I'll keep lookingzzzz wrote:Chahat wrote:does exist some reference to this 'Prompt repair'? Don't ask for a different configuration of Onepiece's XP AIO Update Pack: use one of the existing vanilla XP UpdatePack with your preferred addons instead

THIS is a QFE version.
Unlike Onepiece's XP UpdatePack, request-only hotfixes are not included.

probably no, sorry.
However you can build your updated iso by adding new ie8 and DotNet AIO addons after 4.7.0 pack. Then you could integrate single new hotfixes using Nlite

Given that .net framework works flawlessly both in Onepiece's UpdatePacks and in True addons, if something has damaged .nets in your side there's no need to mess everything with cleanup utilities. Simply uninstall from Control Panel and reinstall them from .net installer file.
Additionally before reinstall you can also run a command like this:
RUNDLL32.exe advpack.dll,LaunchINFSection NETFX20.inf,NETFX20.CleanUp
to remove the smallest trace

Hmmmm I went back over a year in time (You know like FOREVER in technological time)
I found EXACTLY 0 instances of .net issues being reported... In this addon
PLUS the ONLY post of yours in this thread (or on this subject) is just bitching and very non-productive...
So I stand by my previous post - DID YOU ever report this issue?
WAIT I found 1 isolated report in MARCH of 2011, is that the nemerous times you refer too.
ALSO I really resent the assumption that I am a girl (That time of the month) REALLY? Ok whatever turns you on big boy...

Well... I overreacted a bit I guess
I thought those were reported while ago but I mixed the .NET issues with the msxml6 one. I should have took the time to read the thread myself.
My apologies and sorry for being harsh.
BUT with all this being said... There is a problem with .NET framework in this ad-on pack
and probably msxml6 too but I didn't test it.
No offense
