Just finished uploading a second XP SP4 OPK ISO with SCSI integration:

To build this version, using the bootloader from Server 2003 OPK was necessary. See post below for download information.

SPECIAL: Windows XP SP4 OPK with SCSI

Post by harkaz » Sat Oct 13, 2018 12:32 pm

The Windows XP OEM Preinstallation Kit, or OPK for short, includes the Windows XP version of Windows Preinstallation Environment (PE) and some tools that can be useful for system builders while deploying Windows XP to client machines. Windows XP Service Pack 3 OPK has been updated to include the latest Windows XP SP4 v3.1b system binaries. You can download the updated ISO from the Windows XP Preinstallation Environment Cloud Folder. Updated components include, but are not limited to:
- Windows Installer 4.5 core (cannot install MSIs)
- Windows Scripting Host 5.7 (from IE8 update)
- ADO core
- Base drivers and kernel

ISO file name WITHOUT any customizations other than slipstreaming SP4 system update: XPSP4OPK.iso
SHA1: c1f59eaa715a0ae0a7a9a9b67342c2a4b64e22ac

ISO file name with DP_MassStorage_wnt5_x86-32_1209 SCSI drivers: XPSP4OPK_SCSI.iso
SHA1 Hash: a41410a892eb5bd58e1a4fcc3dacecb6ce0c12b1

Yes, that's right! You can now boot OEM Preinstallation Kit - Windows XP SP4 Preinstallation Environment on modern hardware! 8)
A full list of integrated SCSI adaptors can be found in the SCSIDRVS.RTF - same as the ones inside DP_MassStorage_wnt5_x86-32_1209!!
Furthermore, this SCSI OPK ISO release includes *ALL* deployment tools for XP SP3 (and SP4) - including special addons from the POSReady 2009 installation disk. A readme file I wrote (located in the TOOLS folder) may be enlightening.

Extra: If interested in XP Embedded deployment, you can:
i) Install the full XP SP2 Embedded Deployment Suite and apply the related binaries found in SP4 OPK there (FBA, etc.). Get XP Embedded SP2 as described here: https://www.betaarchive.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=36246 and apply the Windows XP Embedded Service Pack 2 Feature Pack 2007 (https://www.softpedia.com/get/Programmi ... Pack.shtml). OR
ii) Search online for Windows Embedded Standard 2009 (XP Embedded SP3) ISO.

Windows XP SP4 v3.1b package WITHOUT .NET FW

Post by harkaz » Mon Oct 15, 2018 11:55 am

For novice users that do not want to wait for 20-30 minutes after installing XP SP4 AND rebooting
For all .NET haters...

A NEW RELEASE OF UNOFFICIAL SP4 3.1B WITHOUT .NET FRAMEWORK

This release will not install .NET Framework in both live and slipstreamed install, unless:
- Media Center Edition is used -> .NET Framework 1.1 SP1 is installed
- Tablet PC Edition is used -> .NET Framework 1.0 SP3 is installed

Users can still install .NET FWs of their choice from the Add/Remove Components wizard in Control Panel

This alternative installation SP4 release is called: WindowsXP-USP4-v3.1b-NODOTNET-x86-ENU.exe available from main Google Drive folder.

Could you please check your download link.
File has been taken down according to the message there?
Well, looks like we can’t go any further

The file you requested has been removed from MediaFire

Wondering if anyone has an idea as to what I should do here. I chose to upload my updater to Mediafire because others upload their update files to there, seemingly with no problem. Mine has been flagged and now disabled.

I started a counter-claim

Edit: To add, that just renamed the file

I'm thinking there is no way they looked at the file ... just flagged it based on the name alone, so if I rename it, "GH0stPak_01Dec18", it shouldn't even be noticed!

Gh0st - None of the links for your post-USP4 hotfix pack work anymore. I tried all the way back to May - they're either removed by MediaFire or dead links.

Upload it to your Google Drive! You can get shareable links for individual files without people accessing the whole drive.

I have deleted the older versions myself and renamed this new one. Which has been Downloaded 73 times. Does not work at this time. Will consider other ways soon
