Are Updates tested With WinXP Pro SP2B release
I have seen all the warnings about starting with a disk without other fixes integrated. I received WinXP Pro UPgrade SP2B (Retail) in Nov 2006 from Microsoft as a replacement disk. Has the integration pack been tested with the SP2B?
It should be OK. Remind me again which fix they include with that?

I was hoping for a specific KB number, which would have required you to do no more than insert your CD and tell me what's in the svcpack directory.

My day job is a UNIX admin. so I am not real familiar with XP and where to look for the "readme" info.
If find it ironic this seems to have broken installing the WGA Notify either from Windows Update or Downloading an installer.
The x386/svcpack directory has 4 files. I included the contents of one, which probably has what you want. Let me know if you want any of the other 3.
KB 911164.cat
KB 911164.exe - which is 3839 KB

I'll add 911164 to the obsolete hotfix list so that all traces of it are removed from the svcpack directory during integration.
