Kels_NotePad++_v5.0.3_addon_replacer.cab
this one had a bug for me, after integrating with nlite and installing windows, wen i doubled click a .txt file, notepad++ would start but without that file loaded. I went to notepad++ official site and followed their instructions for replacing windows' notepad, and now it works. does anyone know what's wrong ?

It sounds like the registry "hijack" method did not work on your computer.

No. I use nlite all of the time. Sounds like something did not get integrated properly.sgmihai wrote:is this because of nlite?

Suggestion: If you are going to turn on ClearType by default, you might want to consider the following registry entry as well:
Background: I've noticed that Vista's ClearType usually looks fantastic out-of-the-box while XP's look pretty bad without tuning. I used to think that this was because Vista's ClearType was somehow better than XP's. But it turns out that they're the same, and that the only difference is that Vista's default gamma value is set to 1200 while XP's is set to 1400 (you can check this by making the SPI_GETFONTSMOOTHINGCONTRAST API call after a clean Vista install and after a clean XP install). This key will change the CT gamma value in XP to match that in Vista.
Code: Select all
HKCU,"Control Panel\Desktop","FontSmoothingGamma",0x10001,b0,04,00,00

Kelsenellenelvian, is there any possible chance that you have a x64 bit version of this addon, or could point me to one that has all of the programs your addon does?
I am hoping that you have made a 64 bit version of this addon, because I really like the addons that you make. I cannot see myself living without certain ones.
If you do not have a 64 bit version, is there a way to make this one compatible with a 64 bit install?

Nice pack -- still going through all the tools. In the process, I found a few dead links. Suggestion provided.
Calculator Plus: http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/deta ... 47f157c091 Dead page.
RegShot: http://sourceforge.net/projects/regshot/ Site moved.
CabTool: Links to msfn ok, but the subsequent download link is broken. Haven't found another place to obtain it. The link does provide info on the tool so it's still informative.
Attribute Changer: http://www.petges.lu/ Site moved.
Create ISO: Wrong link (looks like you got off by one). See next.
File Extension Toggle: This link is actually for Create ISO. FET should point back to http://www.msfn.org/board/index.php?showtopic=52524
HashTab: Site appears to be down. Temporary thing?

Attribute Changer 6.10a released
Code: Select all
http://webplaza.pt.lu/rpetges/download/ac.exe
Some issues were reported for Attribute Changer 6.10 and they are now fixed in this maintenance release.
Updates
- Picture date and time checkboxes now unchecked by default
Bug fixes
- JPEG Error 52 while modifying EXIF data
- 'Failed to set calendar date or time' error on Windows Vista
- Copy buttons fail on Windows Vista for DateTimePicker operations
Microsoft decided to change the way the DateTimePicker common control behaves for Windows Vista and this broke Attribute Changer. The only way to work around this problem is to use native Win32 API calls instead of Delphi class methods .... but it took me a long time to figure out what broke.
