Simple utility to catalog/inventory Addons/Software?

Post by Amiga » Fri Dec 16, 2005 3:16 pm

It is becoming a pain in the ass to organize the addons from the Ryan and nLite forums. Anyone know of a simple utility that can catalog software? Something that allows one to store the name, location, version, etc. of a software package. I know a datebase and/or a spreadsheat could do it, but I was hoping a small utility is floating around somewhere out there. Any help would be appreciated.

I have been making it a habit of renameing the addons I download to suit my needs.

For instance if I download an accessorie i add "Accessories_" before the name of the file.

A theme I add "Themes_" before the filename.

This helps me a lot when I go to grab my addons.

Christ! If I hear one more person complain about too many addons I'm gonna....
Here's an idea:
Pick up you computer and throw it against the wall, you'll find it much easier to organize the addons you have left.
