Do these sucesfully integrate like traditional KB hotfixes if using nlite or any other inegrator?
also, is it more recommended to use nlite or another integrator to do that? I mean these embedded hotfixes are much newer than the latest nlite for XP.
POS2009/XP embedded Hotfix question
Re: POS2009/XP embedded Hotfix question
nlite hasn't been officially tested with posready and there are slight differences between posready and windows xp not all patches work as expected. there are premade packs that include posready patches they are probably best way to use them
Re: POS2009/XP embedded Hotfix question
Here is an example of what works with nLite.

@tex24 i like this thanks for the info.
Re: POS2009/XP embedded Hotfix question
Just to clarify:
1) The update packs should be entered in Hotfixes, Addons and Update Packs section of nLite in the order shown in my previous post.
2) After that you can safely add drivers, remove some components, services, etc. I completely removed .Net and lots of other stuff and never had any problems. This just seems to work ok with this particular set of update packs but it's not always the case. Harkaz's USP4 is an example of the project where nLite can only be used for the integration process and nothing else.
